New irons for a high handicapper?

I'm a relative newcomer to golf Golf Reviews Now, and therefore have a very high (mid 30's) handicap. I play some really old Top Flite blades Golf Irons Store, and want to get a new set of irons - that I can handle Golf Reviews Blog, and hopefully grow with. I tried some Wilson Fatshaft Pro Tour clubs in the weekend, and had the worst round of my life! I left the course thoroughly dejected, and was just about ready to give up for good. Then, upon giving the clubs back to the proshop I borrowed them off, a (different) salesman told me I should never have tried to use them in the first place because they are designed for the very experienced low handicapper. My question therefore is; what are peoples recommendations for good priced, fairly forgiving clubs that I can play now, and which will grow with my game for some time to come? There are so many makes and models to choose from - where do you start? How do you know you're getting good advice from a salesman (even from a pro shop) who may only be trying to flog the latest line of clubs on to you? Thanks in advance for your responces, anf happy golfing!

similar distance to 3 wood?

hey guyzI just had a bit of a query Golf For Sale, I am not game enough to get a 3 wood but I have a full set including a driver all club fitted and have been playing for about 9 months or so. My driver acutally hasn't arrived yet Golf Irons, I ordered it yesterday. But the question I had was Golf Drivers Shop, If I am not to use a 3 wood but got a hybrid instead or something what club would goa distance similar to a 3 wood or somewhere in between a 3 iron and a driver?

It's a question of socks....

Guys Golf For Sales,I'm looking at grabbing some Thorlo's from the US. They work out about 20 bucks each delivered Golf Irons Blog, perhaps a little less. They come in 6 packs Golf Irons Store, so if there's anyone out there that's interested, I'm only after 2, there's 4 pair still available.Large White crew Thorlo golf specfiic socks.Cheers!

Lengthening Shafts

just after some feedback please Discount Golfs, i bought some great Titleist 755 Irons from Psygene on here Golf Equipment Shop, just a preliminary enquiry atm Discount Golf, as i have only had the chance to play 6 holes with them due to the bloody rain we have had here in the last week, i hit them pretty good, but they are the standard length, where as my previous irons were 1 inch over. Is re-shafting the only option, or am i dreaming that i heard somewhere you can get a plug put in the top of the shaft to give you the extra length and then just re-grip..???............over to you guys !!www.wynyardgolfclub.com.au

Ordered MP57s. Got shipped MP67s.

Hi Mate Golf US Now,As you know from my other post Used Golf, that I am looking to get a set of mizunos Golf Clubs Store, let me know which ones you decide to keep.

Thinking of a 7 wood!

I'm looking into another experiment! I'm still not convinced about the 19deg hybrid but think a 5 wood is a bit too close to my 3 wood..(3 wood 15 deg Golf Clubs Today, 5 wood 18deg Golf Equipment Show, 7 wood 21 deg).Plus my 3 iron is redundant so I'm thinking about getting rid of the 3i and 3H to replace with a 7 wood..am I mad Discount Golf, should I stick with it for a while, consider a 5 and 7 wood option or something else?I dont need a string of people telling me they love their hybrids because I know many do, but I'm starting to think I'm not suited to them! And that statement that they are good from a bad lie, is..well, a bad lie!Never underestimate the power of ignorance!
